Understanding God’s Plan for the Ages
(Putting the Pieces Together)
As we study what God has revealed to us about his Plan for the Ages, we will see that He gradually revealed much of His Plan through the Promises that He made to His People. This lesson will look at some of those promises and what they mean for us today.
God’s Plan Revealed….
Through His Promises
- God’s Promises to Adam and Eve
The promise in this verse is actually not made to Adam and Eve, but to the _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _. Man has failed to obey God, even in a perfect world, and God is speaking as a _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _. Even so, He reveals that He has a Plan for the Redemption of Man.
1. Enmity between thee and the woman
2. Between thy seed and her seed (singular)
3. (Eve’s Seed) to “bruise thy head” – a fatal wound
4. (Satan) to “bruise his heel” – the wound of the cross

These promises are unconditional – Israel will inherit the land, even though the fail and reject God. The question is not _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ Israel will inherit the land, it is _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _.
